Yeah, I used it solely
when I was looking to purchase a used 4x4 F150.
I found that it was the easiest thing to use so I could compare Dealer price compared to this value. It allowed me to see that some dealers are 3k over it and others were much closer to that number.
I ended up working with a dealer that seemed to always price them reasonable but "did not negotiate" and focused on trucks in good condition with low mileage.
I went and check on two vehicles and drove two more. I decided not to buy that day and just watch the dealer site.
Boom, a vehicle I liked came in with a good car fax. I called, asked some questions, and was confident I was going to purchased. I drove the 60 miles knowing no negotiation. Worked perfectly. I pointed out a few things which were fix immediately or the dealer knocked off 100 bucks.
Definitely a great site to use if purchasing a used vehicle.
